According to the Hainan State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, recently, the 100MW affordable photovoltaic project in Ledong Yingge Haiyan Salt Field, which was independently invested by Haikong Energy, a subsidiary of Hainan Holdings, achieved full-capacity grid-connected production and was officially connected to the grid for power generation.
The 100MW affordable photovoltaic project in the Yingge Haiyan Salt Field has an average annual power generation capacity of about 160 million kWh, which can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 163,000 tons per year. In addition, compared with thermal power plants with the same power supply, it can save 50,200 tons of standard coal every year, reduce smoke and dust emissions by about 44,500 tons per year, sulfur dioxide by about 0.49 tons per year, and nitrogen oxide emission reductions of 0.25 tons per year.
This project is the photovoltaic project with the earliest start, the shortest construction time, and the fastest full-capacity grid connection among the photovoltaic projects approved during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period in Hainan Province. It is of great significance to invest in fixed assets, optimize Hainan’s power supply structure, and promote local social and economic development.
“The Yinggehai Salt Field Project can supply 160 million kWh of green and clean electricity to Hainan Power Grid every year. It has successfully passed the Yinggehai Photovoltaic Project Phase II filing. After the project is completed, it will become the largest centralized photovoltaic project in Hainan.” Haikong Energy The relevant person in charge said.
