Most of us love Memorial Day weekend because its what we’ve
always known as the “official” start to summer. If school isn’t already out for
the summer, it will be soon. Memorial Day also marks the opening of outdoor
pools for much of the states, a work holiday, and sometimes, even a short
vacation. While this weekend may be filled with barbeques, weekend vacations,
or other lighthearted activities, it really is so much more. It’s a day to
remember our fallen soldiers, the true heroes that once lived amongst us.
Perhaps that hero was a great-grandfather, father, mother, brother, or sister;
a friend or an acquaintance. Either way, this holiday deserves remembrance,
respect, and appreciation. Renogy remembers the fallen today.
